Yes the Sultanahmet area is really beautiful, and full of historical facilities. But what about night life?
From Beyoglu and Taksim hostel, during the day, you can take the traim and reach to Sultanahmet area
just in 10 minutes. And during the night you can choose a place to go, from over 2000 bars and restaurants
in beyoglu. There are lots of cheap hostels in Sultanahmet but their quality is not as good as the ones in Taksim...
The cheap hostels (there are only a few and we are the best of them:)) in Taksim are friendlier, cheaper, cleaner and serves you better food!!

Sultanahmet is so close to Taksim for visiting...And you don't have to stay in those non-qualified hostels in Sultanahmet, you should prefer hostels in taksim because you won't want to miss the fun in nights in
Istiklal street!
